In my artistic research on the juxtaposition of natural cycles and human ones,
I always come across the same conclusion:
Humans are aware that their time is limited
As a result, I combine human action on the organic stone
in the form of two clocks, each one with a completely different approach.
LA ROCA
White Traonix marble, stainless steel, batteries
The most organic way to measure time. Based on spontaneity and naturalness. When a natural element becomes an object or, in other words, it’s turned into an object with a simplistic gesture.
LA MARMOLINA
Black Monterey Marble, glass and “marmolina”
The most precise way of measuring time. Based on rationality, sound frequencies give rise to waves that determine the shape of the clock itself. In this case, the stone is transformed in a completely different way, polished with maximum detail.
